Decorating Your Bedroom

To add homeliness and warmth to your room, here are some ways of decorating your bedroom.

First up pile your pillows on the bed, don’t be shy to mix colours and patterns. Combine large prints with small one and floral’s with geometric ones. You will be surprised how helpful this can be. It adds colours to your room and is handy.

Blank walls give the room a look of emptiness so why not put up a DIY artwork. The art material is often cheap and it is something you can be proud of as well.

Thirdly don’t restrict yourself on anything especially prints. Prints are not only for bed sheets and bedcovers; try to make printed lamp shades to match your room. This definitely adds viberance. Also try to get nightstands and adjustable lamps, they save a lot of space.

Bed is the center piece of your room and it is made for relaxing so it should look and feel comfy. Choose extra soft comforters and quilts with calming colours.

Flooring is the one thing which is commonly forgotten but it is one of the most important things as well, as it brings the whole room together. Place a rug in front of your bed this makes a great sleeping spot for your pet and makes your room photogenic.

Lastly tuck a chair into a corner for an instant resting spot and it makes a great place for reading too.
